The programme is open to all soloists and ensembles pursuing a career as professional musicians. The programme offers artists not only a stunning performance platform in the Baroque setting of St John’s, but also support in other aspects of a professional career, such as marketing, commissioning, and outreach work.

Throughout the course of the year, which runs from September 2015, the Young Artists will be encouraged to work independently, preparing them for a future on the public stage.

This is a fantastic opportunity for four emerging artists or ensembles to gain valuable experience and guidance.

To apply, please send a link to a social media recording (e.g. Vimeo or YouTube) of you/your ensemble performing and your biography/ies, along with a reference from a musician of standing (e.g. your teacher, conductor, professor), to Joey Innes-Hopkins.

Details of this year’s Young Artists can be found here.

The closing date for applications is 28 February 2015

All applicants will be notified of our decision after this date. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to auditions at St John’s Smith Square.
