Support Us

Our supporters play an integral role in the life of Southbank Sinfonia at St John’s Smith Square, sustaining a home for creativity and an ever-evolving orchestra rich with young talent and new ideas.

Each year offers so many musical adventures, and you too can join us on our journey, helping to empower the musicians of today and tomorrow.

Transition Fund

Southbank Sinfonia at St John’s Smith Square is an organisation in transition. Having merged two much loved cultural institutions in April 2021, we have now established business-as-usual and are planning for the future.

Southbank Sinfonia’s work will sit at the heart of what is presented at St John’s Smith Square, with international groups continuing to perform regularly too. St John’s will also remain a key venue for amateur, university and school groups with the Footstool Café as a hub to eat, drink and learn more about what we have to offer.

Whilst we continue to work on these plans however, we need help to make up our shortfall. Our turnover is currently £2.1million. Ticket sales and commercial income only covers a proportion of our running costs. This financial year, we need to raise £250,000 to fill the gap.

Please help us to fulfil our potential as one of London’s most treasured musical and architectural gems.
