Russian pianist Dmitri Alexeev is one of the world’s most highly regarded artists. His critically praised recitals on the world’s leading concert stages and his concert appearances with the most prestigious orchestras have secured his position as one of “the most remarkable pianists of the day” (Daily Telegraph).
In the third of the concerts Dmitri Alexeev will give a solo recital which includes two transcriptions by Alexeev of works by Brahms.

The final date of the festival will take place in the Concert Hall at the Royal College of Music and will be given by current students of Dmitri Alexeev, with all four concerts in this mini-festival flowing from the great pedagogue Dmitri Bashkirov, who died earlier this year, and who influenced many of the great pianists performing today.
