Throughout history, the arts have always provided an escape and an outlet for creativity at times of human suffering, providing relief from challenging struggles. This evening celebrates music reflecting on life’s joys and purpose during trying circumstances. London Chamber Orchestra invite you to hear these works, understanding the context under which they were written, (we can now relate to Shostakovich feeling despair and writing in isolation due to a flu pandemic all too-well) where a clear message is portrayed - the arts and music are essential to human existence. The shared experience can continue with LCO’s signature post-concert party. Come and meet some musicians and the LCO team whilst enjoying your free drink - what’s not to like?

LCO have a limited number of £10 tickets on sale for their concerts. These are available for those who are on lower incomes, whatever their circumstances, with no questions asked. There will be an opportunity to make a suggested extra donation of £10 on the night itself, for those who can afford to. With your generosity, an LCO experience can be offered to someone in their community otherwise unable to attend.
