The exciting programme presented by the Adamas Ensemble for this concert will be performed by a Clarinet, Cello and Piano Trio. This programme will open with an Italian opera-influenced theme and variations composed by Beethoven, leading the audience on a tour to experience the development and changes in the compositional structure and musical style swinging across the classical period, late 19th Century, and finally entering the 20th-century Italian film music. The Adamas trio will embark on this musical journey departing from the centre of Vienna to England, and then back to Italy where the Italian operas thrive and prosper, through the quills and ball pens of Beethoven, Vaughan Williams, and Nino Rota.
