It is with great sadness that we, Southbank Sinfonia at St John’s Smith Square, mourn with the nation, the Commonwealth and the world the loss of our beloved monarch, Queen Elizabeth II. A champion of music and the arts, we are forever grateful for her love and support.

Our thoughts and condolences are with the royal family at this time.

In line with advice from the palace and DCMS, we will continue to remain open during this period of National Mourning, both for performances and as a place for reflection and respite in the Westminster area.  Where there are any changes to advertised programmes or performances, we will list this information on our website and ticketholders will be contacted.

As a mark of respect, and in keeping with the tone of National Mourning, we will hold a one-minute silence at the start of performances, and we will be closed on the day of the funeral.

Thank you for your service, your Majesty.
