Following the latest Government announcement, from 13th December we will be updating some of the COVID safety procedures. All events, including our 36th Christmas Festival, will continue to go ahead as planned with these added safety precautions. We look forward to welcoming you here soon and endeavor to continue to provide brilliant music in a safe environment for all!

Updates:

  • Unless exempt, all staff and visitors of St John’s Smith Square will now be required to wear face coverings while inside the building and at all times during performances. Disposable masks will be available at no cost on entry to the building.

  • Hand sanitising stations continue to be in operation at various points around the venue, we ask that you use them when you enter and exit the venue.

  • COVID passports are not required but regular testing (lateral flow or PCR) is strongly encouraged before attending an event at St John’s Smith Square. For your safety members of staff are also required to regularly test and artists are strongly encouraged.

  • To continue to support the NHS Test and Trace system we keep a temporary record of your contact details (provided during the booking process), to be shared with NHS Test and Trace if required.  Details we collect for this purpose will be kept securely and destroyed by us after 21 days.  You can also check in on the NHS Test and Trace app using our venue QR code (on display in the building).

Please visit the Covid FAQ’s page for more information on the measures we are taking to keep visiting St John’s safe. Thank you and we look forward to seeing you very soon.
