After many weeks of unusual silence at St John’s, we were delighted to welcome violist Lawrence Power to our rooftop earlier this month to record a world premiere performance of Power by Huw Watkins. This is the first of ten short viola pieces which Lawrence is commissioning and filming in vacated London venues as a response to the Coronavirus crisis.
