Salomon Orchestra are delighted that our President, Martyn Brabbins, is returning to conduct Elgar’s 1st Symphony for our 60th Birthday concert. Martyn has a long-standing association with Salomon Orchestra - notably including a series of 'marathon' concerts where we perform all the symphonic works of a particular composer in a single day. The first half of the concert will be conducted by rising star Michal Oren, making her debut with the orchestra, featuring Mussorgsky's Pictures at an Exhibition and a new fanfare by Martyn Brabbins, composed especially for the occasion.
