This October, join the A4 Brass Quartet for a thoroughly unique lunchtime concert here at St John’s, Smith Square. Since their formation in 2013 at the Royal Northern College of Music the group have gone from strength to strength with their unique blend of cornet, tenor horn, baritone and euphonium establishing them as a distinctive group at the forefront of British brass chamber music. Composed of principal players from some of the UK’s top brass bands including Black Dyke, Brighouse & Rastrick and Foden’s, they have appeared on national television and radio and performed extensively access some of the UK’s most prestigious venues. 

They will present a varied programme in this lunchtime concert from Bernstein’s crowd pleasing Overture to ‘Candide’ to the gorgeous love letter of Elgar’s Salut d’Amour.
