Commissioned by Glyndebourne to precede Mozart’s ‘The Marriage of Figaro’, this serenade for wind octet draws on musical ideas from Mozart’s operatic masterpiece, creating alternative scenarios for his characters in a visionary musical tapestry!

Following on, Harvey’s work intertwines Mozart’s iconic melodies with his own contemporary language, resulting in a serenade that honours tradition whilst pushing the boundaries of musical expression.
