Paul Mann conducts Purcell School Symphony Orchestra in what the school does best: outstanding musical performance of traditional repertoire, presented with an intriguing twist of new flavours.   

We celebrate the culmination of our 60th anniversary Purcell Composers @ 60 project with the 4th instalment of Purcell Parallels in which an established composer is paired with a student to work alongside one another on two new works. 

We also hear from alumnae Ekaterina Chunikhina and Hana McDowell, who were finalists in the school concerto competition earlier in 2023.

Finally we mark the 80th Birthday of a great composer and educator, Robin Holloway with his new arrangement of Brahms' great F minor Piano Quintet.
