Works for vihuela by Narvaez, Fuenllana, Mudarra, Ortiz, and for baroque guitar by Guerau, Martín y Coll and Gaspar Sanz.

The renowned authority on historical stringed instruments, José Miguel Moreno from Madrid, explores two centuries of Spanish music. In the first half of his recital he uses the vihuela to illustrate the Renaissance repertoire, from the songbooks to the great vihuelistic editions of the 16th century, through the music of Diego Ortiz. In the second part, he takes the guitar, which grew as the popular relative of the vihuela, to offer music from two of the most important books dedicated to the instrument in the Baroque, those edited by Guerau and Sanz. Canarios from the manuscripts of Martín and Coll are also featured.
